Hello everybody,
today is RegEx Part 5.
Today we enter unknown ground, we try to build a regex engine. I have not prepared the course material yet, so this will be kind of a freestyle session. I am sure it will be fun :)

    I just had a thought while eating dinner 😉:

     I think the Problem with „a.c“ matching „ac“ can get solved with a separate „finish state“ instead of checking only for state == 0
