Sesson 1: Comprehensions on 28.02.2021

edited March 2021 in Sessions

I will start the first session on February, 28. It's a Sunday so I hope the different time zones are not a big problem.

In the first session I will talk about comprehensions. I think this is a nice topic for both beginners and intermediates.

I will prepare some kind of exercises where you can test your comprehension skills :)

You can vote for the preferred time.

I will post a link and description about the "meeting tool" soon. I have to check which works best with my linux system.

I will use Jitsi as collaboration tool. I tried sharing my desktop and it worked fine with chrome browser on my unix system.

Use this link to join tomorrow, no registration required.

For those of you who have trouble installing python and setting up your environment: I will be in the meeting 30 minutes earlier. You can ask your questions and I can trouble shoot your problems.

  • Yes, we start today, 16:00 GMT+1

  • I have an exercise file and a test file attached.

I cannot upload files with .py ending, so I renamed it to txt.

You can download these files but you must rename them back to ending .py to execute them.

Fill in your solution in the comp_ex.py. To test your solution, run the test_comp.py

Ah, I overlooked the announcement and missed the first session. Apologies!

    Will be there next Sunday.

Thank you for posting exercises and the test file, Alex!
