Python (Pair) Exercise - 18.07.2021 16:30 UTC

edited July 2021 in Cases
Hello my friends,
as anounced last week we have an exercise from Trey Hunners excellent service "python morsels".
I attached the description, test files (rename test_csv_columns.py.txt to test_csv_columns.py) and the final solution.

The exercise will use the python csv parsing module and consists of several parts. You can read the practical python material we discussed the last weeks if you are not familiar with csv parsing any more. If you get stuck, take a look at the hints before you look at the solution. This will increase your learning effect

Depending on the number of participants, split up in several groups. We have written a group generator last week, which you can use to generate groups of different sizes per random.

I would suggest the following structure:
1) Meet in the main session and have a short preview of the exercise (10 minutes)
2) Split up in groups and code (50 minutes)
3) Join the main meeting again and discuss your solutions (30 minutes)

So the session link for todays session is: https://meet.jit.si/python_coding_dojo_main
You can just create ad hoc jitsi meet sessions for the pair programming.
I will not participate in this sessions. So see you on Sunday - 27th july. :)
